Tsaturyan, M. O. The Study of a Reflective Component of Teachers’ Psychological CompetenceAbstract: The article underlines the importance of a competence approach to studying psychological grounds of teaching. The author of the article describes the structural content of psychological competence of a teacher from the point of view of theory and proves the need in practical researches of a reflective content of such type of competence using expert evaluations and tests. The author provides the main results of such study which allows to conclude whether this or that level of development of reflection correlates to various levels of subjective control and general tension of psychological defense.
