Abstract: Tax Policy and Ways to Overcome the Crisis: Business Point of View.. 4 The article is based on the reports read at the opening of the 5th Russian National Tax Forum (Moscow, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia, December 1, 2009). Based on the questions enlightened by representatives of departments and committees of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, the author of the article drew attention to a number of strands of tax policy which should be of great importance to business-making.

Abstract: The article is aimed at showing ostensibility of the statement from the Second Clause of Law 22 of the Tax Code of the Russian Federation. By tacit agreement, the government supports juridical inequality between taxpayers and tax officials which violates the principle of justice in law. According to the author, such a gap between participants of tax process (in favor of tax administration) requires the existing legislation to be reviewed.

Abstract: The article summarizes the discussions held at International Scientific and Methodic Conference in Finance Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation, section ‘Taxes and Taxation”. Discussions mostly evolve around requirements for training taxation specialists in conditions of growing competition in education; peculiarities of organization of education process when realizing the federal state educational standard of the ‘third generation’; teaching Bachelors and Masters; organization and methodical support (with training manuals, for instance) of new forms of lectures and independent work of students and so on.

Abstract: Kazakhstan was the first in CIS to experience the influence of the world financial crisis. The government of Kazakhstan has a very clear anti-crisis program which includes implementation of certain measures to establish macroeconomic and financial stability, decision of problems on the property market, support of small and middle business and agriculture. Important part of anti-crisis measures is innovative industrial and infrastructural projects. The government of Kazakhstan routinely reduces the tax burden. The authors of the article considered the changes of calculation and payment of corporate income tax, individual income tax, value-added tax, transport, property and land taxes as well as changes in taxation of users of mineral resources.
