Kozlov, M. E. Military Presence of Englishmen in Ireland During the Years of the Tudors’ Reign (1485-1603)Abstract: The article is devoted to the role of English military ministry in Ireland at the XVI century. The author of the article describes the problems of forming and allocating military forces throughout the island, weapon and food supply and paying salaries to soldiers. The author also pays attention at the military role of the chiefs of Ireland clans and provides examples of conflicts as well as the strategies used by both parties.
